While the school may have bathrooms inside the building, you do not want to have dozens of people standing in long lines while waiting to use the bathroom. If people are standing in line and are holding it in for too long, they might decide to leave the event and go home because they are frustrated. Eliminate this issue by renting portable toilets and setting them up at the school. You may want to have these restrooms placed in the schoolyard or any other convenient location that would make it easy for the guests to use the restroom when they need to do so.
Get Plenty of Refreshments
You do not want to run out of refreshments for your guests, so make sure to have plenty of bottled water available. You may even want to offer the bottled water for free while offering other beverages for purchase, such as iced tea, lemonade, and soda. It is always good to buy in bulk for large events because then you can make sure that you have more than enough refreshments to go around.
Offer Different Types of Entertainment
Make sure to have different ways to keep guests entertained. The event you are throwing may be a way for you to raise money for the school. In that case, you may want to have a cotton candy stand, a dunk tank, a face painting station, a balloon animal station, and plenty of other fun things for guests to do while they are hanging out. Consider hiring a live band to play music, find a magician who can put on a show, and look for other sources of entertainment that are fun for both adults and children.
